Thank you for making the 8th edition of the Amici di Bologna Symposium and Celebration an outstanding success! The event, which gave SAIS alumni based in the United States the opportunity to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Bologna Center, was attended by about 270 alumni and guests who showed their unwavering affection and enthusiasm for being a part of the Bolognese community.

Thanks to sponsorships and revenues from the on-site silent auctions, the Amici event generated this year a record net surplus of $19,000 which will be devoted to support new fellowships for SAIS students as well as future networking events consolidating the relationship between recent graduates and the wider alumni community.
