In the latest 2024 Foreign Policy Magazine ranking of best graduate programs for students pursuing policy careers in international relations, SAIS master's programs secured the number two spot, as voted by scholars, policymakers, and think tank analysts.

2024, the year of elections, marks the biggest election year in modern history. Countries representing almost half of the world's population will head to the polls, from Taiwan to India and Venezuela to the U.S. presidential race in November 2024.

These elections occur amid significant economic and geopolitical tensions, including the ongoing war in Ukraine, conflicts in the Middle East, global inflation, and rising trade tensions between the United States and China.

Concerns about the resilience of democracy are growing, with political discourse becoming increasingly polarized and influenced by disinformation. Many elections this year may face challenges of fairness, and their results could be disputed.

Come engage in a dialogue with leading experts on critical issues shaping the global landscape at our symposium that promises to be both enlightening and timely. Secure your tickets now and be part of this pivotal conversation.
